| 摘要 | 佛教信仰及參與佛事活動是傣族人傳統行為習慣構成的核心。德宏傣族將加入佛教組織並有資格按教規修行稱為「入會」，入會是傣族佛教信徒皈依的一個明確標誌。對個人皈依佛教，傣族有一種約定俗成的規定：入會是隨心的，即什麼時間入會是個人的意願，但一般情況下，人們認為50多歲、60歲的人就應要求入會。傣族佛教皈依者大多數為漸進型皈依者，年齡、同伴團體的吸引及子輩的敦促、娛樂是影響傣族老年人皈依佛教的主要原因。客觀地講，皈依佛教對傣族老年人維護心理健康，積極應對死亡有著特殊的意義。
Buddhism and Buddhist activities are the core tradition of the Dai nationality. The Dais in Dehong regard the joining of a Buddhist organization with the qualifications for Buddhist activities as "initiation", a clear symbol of conversion to Buddhism. The established tradition requires the conversion should be a personal wish and the Dai people at the age of 50 or 60 should apply for it. It is a gradual progress under the encouragement of the peers and the children. Entertainment is the main cause for the aged to convert themselves to Buddhism , which is helpful for t heir mental health and the coming of death.
