| 摘要 | 文化交流是推動人類社會前進的重要動力之一，而文化交流又往往借助于翻譯進行。成功的翻譯也即成功的文化交流。佛經翻譯是我國歷史上第一次成功的大規模文化交流，這已成為人們的共識。然而對其成功背后譯者的作用尚缺乏深入的研究。當代翻譯研究已表明翻譯是受制于特定歷史環境下的文化交換活動，它決不是在真空之下進行的。故本文嘗試以操控學派旗手AndréLefevere的翻譯理論為框架，從宏觀歷史角度，以意識形態為立足點，重點通過漢譯佛典來分析佛經翻譯中的操控現象進而探究譯者在其中的作用和他們所采取的策略。 操縱佛經翻譯的意識形態除來自于原文中所體現的原作者意識形態之外，主要來自于贊助人、讀者和譯者。故本文主要從贊助人、讀者和譯者三者的意識形態入手分析佛經翻譯所受到的操控以及譯者對此的處理策略。分析結果表明佛經譯作是不同意識形態調和后的產物。譯者在其中同時充當著意識形態操控者和仲裁者的角色。佛經翻譯之所以能夠獲得成功，就譯者而言，就在于譯者協調了上述來自不同主體的意識形態之間的關系，也即譯者根據翻譯當時原作者意識形態與其它主體意識形態的沖突狀況，通過不同程度地實現...
