Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism establish their own ecological views respectively and form a different but complementary pattern. As far as the concrete ways of connection in a community are concerned, Confucianism depends on "Ren" ( love among kinfolks) , Taoism on " Tao" while Buddhism on causality. In terms of human’s positions in the whole nature, Confucianism takes human being as the noblest, Buddhism takes it as the humblest and Taoism puts it in between. When it comes to ecological practice, Confucianism claims to utilize natural materials abstemiously, Taoism affirms to obey the natural system comp lately while Buddhism proposes to protect the nature. |
