The comparative study over the Mongolian myth, the Buddhism myth and the myth of some Buddhist countries and people is a significant task of Mongolian myth research. This thesis discusses this problem from four aspects, including the reliability of comparative studies, the domain of comparative studies, the method and materials of comparative studies, as well as the purposes and significance of comparative studies.
