| 摘要 | The objective of this research is to study of humanism in Confucian Philosophy. It is divided into four main points, viz. (1) humanism in general (2) humanism seen from Confucian world view (3) humanism seen from Confucian teaching, and (4) influence of humanism to societies. The results of study can be summed up as follows :- Firstly, Confucian world view, even seen from metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, or aesthetical stand-points, is humanistic, and by such world view, it makes Confucian teaching be also humanistic. Confucian humanism is based on social relationship, and at the same time, it has encouraged the individual to cultivate himself and conduct in accordance with his own position for his own and social goodness and happiness. Secondly, in the case of influence to societies, we also find that Confucian humanism has fundamentally influence in many ways, e.g. social, political, economic, literary, ritual, and cultural. Such influence has not only in Chinese society, but also in other societies in Asia. Especially, in Japanese society, from the beginning, Confucian humanism has played a key role as a predominant factor in establishment of Japanese society, and through Confucian humanism, Japanese have flourished up to the present. |
