| 摘要 | The purpose of this research is to study the concept of faith for which the Buddhists in Thailand are having the faith in. The researcher collected the data from Tripitaka and the related texts which contain the beliefs in religion, culture, tradition and the living of human from the past to the present Thai Buddhists. These will lead us to the theory of faithfulness which will be confirmed the existence about the vision of belief of the Buddhists in both tangibility and intangibility. This presentation is intended to provide the Thai Buddhists the correct concept of faithfulness. Analyst classified this study into 5 chapters. It starts with the faithfulness in the Doctrine of the Elders which emphasizes the groups of people that are having faith according to their time up to the faith of Thai Buddhists nowadays. This also has been studied the concept of Buddhists faithfulness which relates to other faith such as black magic etc. The concept of faithfulness reflects the live of the Buddhist from past to present and indicate of how the faith in daily lives will be converted to the culture and tradition of the people nowadays and in the future. In the study, this research found that the Tripitaka contains many items about the faithfulness such as in the collection of Numerical Sayings Angkuttaranikaya Atthakanipata Tripitaka book 23 mentioned achievement of faith Chatukkanipata Tripitaka book 21 mentioned Samasatdha Angkuttaranikaya Panchakanipata Tripitaka book 22 mentioned the faith of good behavior etc. The other texts which express the faith of various levels of human especially the group of Thai people from past to present such as Kampheemilintapanha mentioned that the faith will make us having clear minds and being influential. In Kampheephumivilasinee it mentioned the belief in birth, death, purgatory, heaven and angel etc. This research collected the data from the texts related to the doctrine, philosophy and religions up to the culture and tradition for which the human is having the faith in and they are already in the way of lives. This has been classified the concept of faith into 2 kinds as under. 1. Buddhism consists of a group of reasoning people who know how to use their wisdom to consider how the faithfulness be like and the usefulness of the faith to their group. 2. Black magic consists of a group of people who do not have reasons when consider the faith. This is a subjective group of people who believe in faith without regarding to reasons of uses. This concludes that, even though the groups of people are having different views concerning the concept of faithfulness but they blend together and sometimes they are unseparable. The two kinds of faith are having different details. The Buddhists aimed at the scriptures, practice and Pativedha. The black magic believes that Phrasaddhamma could not prove anything. But when we consider faithfulness in Buddhism, we conclude that the objective is for the wisdom. |
