| 摘要 | A research titled "A study of Uses and Gratification of Computer of Students in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and Mahamakut Buddhist University" aims to study computer uses and the gratification of the students of the two Universities. Meanwhile, it also studies the relations between the computer uses and gratification. It is to propose data to the Universities. As the consequence, the University can use them to improve a curriculum of computer subject satisfied the student needs. This research is a survey research collecting the data through question-papers filled by numbers of informants, the students of the central part of the Universities. Most of them are studying in B.A. degree in all four - year study faculties. For and analysis, descriptive statistic was used in analyzing the data. People characteristic qualities, characters, behavior and used program an objective of computer using were analysed by percetage. Statistic t-test and Chi-Square test were used to test a hypothesis. The results of the research are as follows : 1. the students of the Universities have taken an advantage of the computer less than it has. 2. Totally, the students with different personal characteristic qualities use computers and get gratification in the same degree. There are, however, still some difference in subdivided items. 3.There are uses and gratification in the different degree between the students having computers and the ones having no computers, difference of use causes the different degree of uses and gratification. 4. The computer use is related to gratification. The students frequently using it, as the consequence get more gratification. Most of students typically use computer in document work, typing and making themselves proficient in computer usage. Problems and obstructions of computer use are in adequate numbers of computer, improficieny of use, and being monkhood limiting the process of learning and finding equipment. Out of these problems, the students have proposed to the Universities exclusive administrators to establish the computer - service - center for the students, to prepare computers adequately, to update learning - studying process and to prompt it more. The researcher thinks that these proposals reflect demands of the students of the Universities. The Universities exclusive administrators of the twos should consider them and apply them to improve the learning - studying process to being the way of producing a religious person with a good quality. |
