| 摘要 | The article highlights the first World Buddhism Forum in Hangzhou capital of Zhejinag Province, China. There were more than 1,000 Buddhist masters, scholars and statemen from 34 nations and regions who attended the forum. The objective of the event was to discuss the role of Buddhism in achieving world harmony. The congratulatory speech was delivered by United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan. |
