| 摘要 | The article focuses on the "Nocturnal Path," part of a program Minh Tran & Co. will take to a number of university campuses in the fall. In this elegant performance, the Vietnamese-American choreographer fuses traditional Vietnamese-opera movement with postmodern Western technique to celebrate the beauty of Buddhist ritual and religious practice. In the dance the choreographer also performs, travels the eponymous road to Nirvana in four sections. The dance is a way of connecting with the Vietnamese community and a way of coming home, in the larger sense. |
