The article presents the author's travel experience in Vietnam under the experiential programs offered by the Westbridge School of California. The group became immersed in the Vietnamese culture. Students attended services in both Buddhist and Cao Dai temples, sampled new cuisine, played with young children at a Buddhist orphanage, photographed baby water buffalo and even fed bananas to an elephant. The trip transformed the lives of the students.
