| 摘要 | This article presents information on some new scholarly books. Some of the books which are being discussed in the article includes: "Deaf Identities in the Making: Local Lives, Transnational Connections," by Jan-Kare Breivik; "Landscape of Hope and Despair: Palestinian Refugee Camps," by Julie Peteet; "The Business of Art: Contracts and the Commissioning Process in Renaissance Italy," by Michelle O'Malley; and "Sight and Spirituality in Early Netherlandish Painting," by Bret L. Rothstein. It is informed that Breivik's book presents a study of 10 Norwegians to explore deaf identity as it is shaped by ties to a global deaf community. |
