| 摘要 | Though comparisons can be drawn between many existing, as well as extinct, languages in the world, the linguist Mario Pei says that "Japanese stands in a class by itself." While psycholinguistic theories can be cited to explain this, religion, which can be said to be one of the vehicles through which the philosophical ideas of a given society and culture are maintained and expounded, has played an exceptionally large role in the development of the Japanese language. |
