| 摘要 | In summary, the early inventory lists were simply lists of the grave goods, or a selected portion of the grave goods, with an added portion that gave it the form of a contract. What adds to the interest of the Turfan material is that one can trace the introduction of a funereal statement and its changes over time, providing us with a record of the changes that religious belief concerning the afterworld underwent in the course of the time covered by these documents, roughly from the end of the fourth century to the beginning of the seventh. |
