| 抄録 | 『금강경』의 수행은 철저한 無我․無相․無住의 실천을 통한 제법의 실상을 체득하는 것이다. 인간은 제법의 잘 못된 인식에서 집착과 차별심을 갖고 투쟁과 살상을 일삼으며, 어리석은 탐욕심으로 자신이 태어나서 의지하고 있는 자연을 개발이라는 명목으로 무참히 훼손하고 오염시키고 있다. 마치 인간이 자연의 정복자인양 착각하고 자기 욕심대로 마구 훼손하고 있는 현실에서 자연생태와 자신의 오고 가는 실제의 위치를 제대로 확신하게 하는 실천수행법이 바로 이 『금강경』의 내용이다. 삼천대천세계의 무한공간에서 생멸하는 일체의 중생이 변화하는 현상을 직감하지 못하면 쉴틈 없이 엄습해 오는 무한의 고뇌에서 영원히 해탈할 수 없이 오히려 자멸하게 될 것이다. 집착할 것 없는 공간세계를 확인하고 더불어 사는 중생세계를 4상을 떠난 본연자성에서 확신할 수 있는 지혜의 완성이야말로 자연생태계의 진정한 회복이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 『금강경』의 실천수행이야 말로 오염되지 않았던 本然의 자아를 발견하고 법계일체가 절대 평등하다는 자연생태의 진면목을 회복하는 진리다.
Religion is essentially to give a cure for the problems of the human society. The main concern in this paper is whether religion could also provide the similar treatment to the problems of the nature. We can easily notice the affirmative effect of a religious worker's exemplary livelihood to the religious followers. The importance of Buddhism becomes clear when we analyse the eco-cultural sentiment among various religious groups. Buddhist monks and nuns are living in the mountains in which the pollution level is very low. They are protesting against the various development project threatening their tranquil environment. Buddhists tend to be very generous and understanding on the nature due to the Buddhist doctrines, such as dependent origination, which teach the mutually depended nature of human beings and the nature. Since the eco-friendly sentiment is the key issue for the future eco-environment, Buddhists are one step ahead of the other religious groups. One thing Buddhists really need to do in the respect is the use of media, such as books and TV programme, to improve their knowledge on the eco-environment. This survey covers the religious workers and followers of such religions as Buddhism, Protestant and Catholicism. There are the similarities and differences of the answer given from the various religious groups. We could also notice the different approach into the eco-cultural sentiment among religious and non-religious people and among environmentalists, academics and business people. |
