| 抄録 | 인도의 수행론에서 6세기 이후 탄트라가 광범위하게 확산되면서, 나디, 프라나 등과 같은 미세신체와 연관된 것들, 특히 수슘나 나디가 수행에서 차지하는 역할과 중요도가 매우 높아졌다. 이러한 수슘나 개념은 후대에 형성된 것이 아니라 우파니샤드 시기에서부터 인식되었던 것으로, Ys에서 직접적인 언급은 없지만 그 주석서들(Ybh · Tv · Yv)에서는 수행상 중요한 나디로 항상 언급되고 있다. 이 점에서는 고전요가 전통이, 후대의 몸 중심의 수행체계인 탄트라 및 스와라요가(Ssd)나 하타요가(Hp)와 동일한 관점을 가지고 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 즉 수슘나의 각성이 해탈로 이어진다고 생각했다. 그러나 미세신체의 양태와 그것의 기능 및 역할 등은 양자에 있어서 상이하게 나타난다.한편 Ssd에는 다른 수행론들과 달리 수슘나 나디의 세속적 기능과 의미도 밝히고 있다. 이 나디의 작용은 물질세계를 구성하는 다섯 요소 중 非有非無적 성격의 공 요소가 지배적임을 뜻한다. 이 때에 세속적으로는 이루어지는 일이 없고 결실도 없게 된다고 설명한다.
Since 6th centary, due to the wide-spreading of tantra, the roles and importances of nādī · prānā, especially susumnā related to subtle body have been gradually emphasized in the tradition of Indian practice. In this paper, first studies are meaning of susumnā nādī in self-discipline with the focus on used examples in Upanisad and Classical Yoga. The second inquiry is meaning of that in Ssd with the compare of Hp. Lastly meaning of mundane world is researched. The concept of susumnā is not composed in the latter period but has been existed in the early Upanisad. We can estimate that the established notion of it is in the 3th perid of Upanisad. And though there are no references in Ys, annotated books(Ybh · Tv · Yv) say that it is very important in practice. In this point, there is same view between Classical Yoga tradition and Tantra · Svara(Ssd) · Hath Yoga, that is to say, awakening susumnā stands for liberation. But forms of subtle body and faculties and roles of that are different. Meanwhile Ssd shows the functions and meanings, which is distinctive point of other scripts. Universe is consis of five elements. Work of this nādī means that ākāśa dominates universe, and character of it is not only being but also not-being. It is said, regarding with travel, prognosis, war, pregnancy · childbirth · offspring etc, that no works can be done and everything is fruitless, when susumnā is flowing. At the base of this description, there are āśrama and purusārtha of Indians. So to speak, this is intention of harmonizing practice and life in mundane world until they come to samnyāsin and achieve moksa.
