抄録The purpose of this study is to reveal that only artist can be a medium or tool for performing extreme experiment from the aspect of subjective thought and experience. The artists, who work with new media, are developing new, comprehensive and daily methods that enable them to perform the planned work in the place of pleasure that they face at any time and place. The place of pleasure is not a ground that artists can continuously stay but a ground that exists instantly. The ground is that for allowing the work as a part of persona, which is made by their movements over time. The conception for making a persona is concerned to media artist, Elearnor Antin. According to the statement of Antin in his sixties, he began to manufacture new persona in order to conceptualize new work when he started visual art. Depending on the situation, the persona is expressed as Not Me or 'art manufacture machine.' Under the condition, a new media artist has a special opportunity to devote himself to digital-artist-to-be by searching for the alternative plan to construct his flexible persona. The representative person is Baek Nam-Jun of Korea. He had a careful opinion about cyber life. He says, "Cyber art is very important but cyber life is more important. However, this kind of life does not necessarily require cyber property.” After all, it is recognized that cyber life is a means of artist. This opinion is recognized well in art world of Baek Nam-Jun. In other words, the work, , always becomes a subject of artistic property and aesthetic ground of his work. The work displays very simple phenomenon that Buddha sits down in front of TV and looks at his figure shown in TV. Paradoxically, 'humanized art' pursued by Baek Nam-Jun requires human's essential lifestyle through electronic media, which is a creature of contemporary civilization. Like , his spirit requests modern people to perform dynamic practice rather than creature of fixed idea.
