| Abstract | 放生習俗的形成，既有佛教戒殺護生的思想根源，同時亦受到儒家好生思想的推動。南北朝以來在，皇權貴族的支持下，逐漸以天然水灣為放生池，形成中國佛教的放生習俗；宋朝以后，僧人在寺院設置放生池，供民眾放生，使放生習俗深入民間。 |
