| Abstract | 本傳又稱《法顯傳》、《佛國記》、《歷遊天竺記傳》，是法顯參訪印度之旅行紀實。 法顯於公元三九九年出發，前往印度求法旅行，經西域之南道，進入印度西北面；一方面歷訪中印度各地之塔寺，一方面巡拜佛跡，學習，抄寫經，律，論諸聖典；最後經由海路先到錫蘭島，於公元四一二年返中國，他將印度所見所聞記述下來成本書。 本書是五世紀初業以來，印度和西域之佛教文化寶貴資料，是佛教僧侶往印度現存旅行記中最古老之旅行紀實。 |
