Abstract本文對明初統治者既限制又利用佛教政策的產生原因、措施、作用進行述評,並探索宗教與政權、社會的關係及啟示。

This article reviews the causes, measures and effects of the dual policy, that is confining and exploiting Buddhism, taken by the rulers in the early part of the Ming Dynasty, and draws a revelation by probing the relations between religion, state power and society.
